Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

At Betninja Casino, safety comes first. Read here how we ensure a transparent and secure gaming environment.

1. Introduction

Betninja Casino (hereinafter referred to as "the Company", "we" or "us") is committed to maintaining the highest standards in terms of regulatory compliance for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF). This policy outlines the procedures and mechanisms we use to prevent, detect, and report such illegal activities.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC) / Account Verification

To comply with international AML guidelines, we implement a strict "Know Your Customer" (KYC) policy. Every player who creates an account and conducts transactions must verify their identity.

  • Identification: Players must provide a valid, government-issued ID (passport, ID card, or driver's license).
  • Address Verification: A recent document (not older than 3 months), such as a utility bill or bank statement, is required to confirm the place of residence.
  • Payment Method Verification: If necessary, the Company may request proof of ownership of the payment methods used, such as a photo of a bank card (with sensitive data partially obscured) or a screenshot of an e-wallet.

We reserve the right to suspend deposits or refuse withdrawals until the KYC procedure has been successfully completed.

3. Deposit and Withdrawal Policy (Closed Loop)

To prevent money from being laundered through our platform, we apply strict financial rules to all transactions:

  • No third-party payments: Players may only deposit from accounts or payment methods registered in their own, verified name. Payments on behalf of or originating from third parties (including friends, family members, or business accounts) will not be accepted.
  • Closed Loop rule: Withdrawals must always be processed to the same payment method used for depositing. Only when this is technically not possible will the funds be transferred to a verified bank account in the player's name.
  • Minimum wagering requirement: Before a deposit can be withdrawn, this amount must be wagered at least once (1x) in its entirety on our games. This discourages the use of the casino as a temporary storage facility for funds.

4. Monitoring Suspicious Activities

Our compliance team and automated systems continuously monitor all transactions and account gameplay to detect irregularities. Suspicious activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Depositing substantial amounts without corresponding gameplay.
  • Frequent, large transactions that do not match the profile or known financial status of the player.
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass transaction limits or security checks.
  • Attempts to mask IP addresses (e.g., via unusual VPNs) during financial transactions.

5. Reporting to Authorities

If we have reasonable grounds to believe that a player is involved in money laundering, fraud, or terrorism financing, Betninja Casino is legally obligated to share this information with the competent financial regulators and law enforcement agencies. In such a case (a Suspicious Activity Report or SAR), we are legally prohibited from informing the player of this (the so-called "tipping-off" prohibition).

6. Staff Training and Awareness

All Betninja Casino employees, especially those involved in customer service, payment processing, and VIP management, undergo mandatory, regular AML training. This ensures they are familiar with the latest money laundering techniques and know how to adequately respond to risk signals.
